How to make a cool spiral staircase in minecraft

We are going to make a cool spiral staircase. In this tutorial we see how to make one that goes one floor up, but the design can be used to make infinitely high stair cases.

Making the walls

First we build the “circular” wall.

Making the steps

Then we place the steps. There are two kinds of steps:

We begin with type 1, then type 2. Over and over. Each step is half a block higher than the last.

After placing two steps, the two next ones are rotated 90 degrees.

Just continue the process until you have built a high staircase.

Entrance and exit

We finalize the stairs by adding torches and an entrance and exit. Multiple exits are naturally possible.
